Welcome to the Beavercreek High School Guidance Department! I am Kim Moses, the College Counselor and Department Chair of the BHS Guidance office. I am also responsible for the PSEO program where I provide information and support to students and their parents for scheduling appropriate classes at BHS while in the PSEO program. My role as the college counselor is to make available a variety of resources for college preparation, such as steps to take when applying for a college, suggestions on what to gain out of a college visit, pass on college information that I have received from colleges, make available website addresses for scholarships, and aid in any concerns/issues a student may have in the college search process. It is an exciting and yet stressful year for seniors in high school and my goal is to reach as many students to validate their concerns and yet through my support, hopefully alleviate some of the apprehensions they may have. I visited the Senior English classes the second week of September. Each student received a college website handout that is available on this website in Documents: college websites. I also distributed a Senior Fall Checklist. These handouts are available in the guidance office if a student needs another copy.
