One of the great rewards of working in a middle school is watching the growth and development of children. The middle school years can be very challenging and the students have more change--physically, mentally, and emotionally--than probably at any other time of their lives.
Our staff is here because we love kids. We want the very best for them and want to see them be successful in high school, college and in their adult years. We constantly look for ways of improving what we are doing. We want to know how each child learns best and bring out the strengths and improve on the weaknesses of each student.
I want to stress that organization is the key to success in middle school. Their agenda book, their locker, their binders--all should be orderly and organized. This helps students stay on top of homework, projects and tests. Make sure to let your students know they need to be assertive and ask for help when needed. And parents, always feel free to communicate with our staff, whether it be by phone or e-mail. We are a team working together. Our goal is the success of all of our children.
Welcome to our Ferguson Family!
