The Beavercreek City School District employs more than 1,000 individuals in a variety of capacities, including classroom teachers, teacher assistants, substitute teachers, food service and transportation personnel, buildings and grounds staff, and administrators ranging from principals and secretarial staff to finance, curriculum and pupil services personnel.

 

Facts about our licensed/certificated instructional staff include:
  • 324 Classroom Teachers
  • 112 Special Area Teachers (includes 71 intervention specialists, 3 gifted specialists, 3 elementary art teachers, 4 elementary music teachers, 3 elementary physical education teachers, 4 English as a second language teachers, 4 technology teachers, 1 school librarian, 15 guidance counselors, and 4 school nurses)
  • 4 individual & small group reading instructors

Educational attainment of our instructional staff:
  • Bachelor’s Degree:  4 percent
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 150 semester hours:  14 percent
  • Master’s Degree:  33 percent
  • Master’s Degree + 15 semester hours:  14.5 percent
  • Master’s Degree + 30 semester hours:  12 percent
  • Master’s Degree + 45 semester hours:  22.5 percent 
Salary information:
  • $63,621 average teacher salary (excludes supplemental contract salaries)
  • $34,712 starting base teacher salary (bachelor’s degree, no experience)

  • 22.42 Administrators (superintendent, assistant superintendents, principals, assistant principals, directors, and supervisors)
  • 6.56 Psychologists (includes one intern)
