The Dayton Area Drug Survey (DADS) will take place at Ferguson Middle School in grades 7-8 on February 10, 2012. This survey is completely anonymous and is administered in a confidential manner. The survey simply asks students questions about their use or non-use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, as well as, the perceived harmfulness of using such substances. DADS has been administered, free of charge, in the Beavercreek City Schools since 1992 by the Wright State University School of Medicine. Data from DADS is used in drug abuse prevention program planning and development. To learn more about DADS,visit the WSU website at www.med.wright.edu/citar/dads/.

To opt your child out of this activity please contact the school office no later than Thursday, February 9th, 2012 if you do not want your child to participate in DADS.
