PURPOSE: To allow Band and Color Guard students the opportunity to earn money to offset fees associated with the Music Program.
WHO MAY SELL: All High School Band and Color Guard students and all 8thGraders who will be in any High School Band or Color Guard program are eligible to participate ONLY IF A SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP HAS BEEN RETURNED.
BENEFITS: A student will earn a profit of approximately 40% from the flowers he or she sells. The money will be held in an account to be used for Band and Color Guard fees. The Band, itself, will receive 10% of total sales to be used at the Director’s discretion.
USE OF PROFIT: The profits may be used to pay for any High School Band & Color Guard fees.
THE SALE: Beginning Monday April 1st, all students are free to sell to anyone. Students who sold flowers last year will have their 2012 order forms returned to them so that they may contact previous customers. This is to allow for repeat business and to help build a clientele from year to year. All order forms will need to be turned into the student’s assigned flower captain by Friday, April 12th.
FLOWER PICKUP: Saturday, May 4th, from 9:00am to 11:30am. The student must pick up the flowers, deliver them, and collect the money due. The student must deliver the money to their assigned captain by Tuesday, May 8th . DO NOT TAKE MONEY TO SCHOOL FOR YOUR SAFETY!!!
