Open to students 9-12 by audition. Auditions are held in December, and rehearsals are held before and after school. The ensembles perform at various concerts and at college jazz festivals. This top ensemble is also the feature group at graduation each year. Instrumentation is: 2 alto saxes, 2 tenor saxes, 1 bari sax, 4-5 trumpets, 4-5 trombones, piano, bass, guitar, and drum set.

These ensemble performs music by composers such as: Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, Pam Watson, Roger Holmes, John Berry, Chuck Mangione, Tom Kubls, etc
