Marching Band Leadership Team Information

There will be 7 parts to the audition process.

  1. Leadership General Meeting (Friday April 27, 3:10 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
  2. Final day to sign-up or delete your name from the interview schedule (Monday April 30)
  3. 15 minute interview
    (May 2 7-9p.m. / May 4 3:15-4:45p.m. / May 6 1-5p.m. / May 9 7-9p.m. / May 10 7-9p.m.)
  4. Marching workshops and audition (May 17 6:30-8:30p.m. & 18 3:30-5:30p.m.)
  5. Drum Major workshops & audition (May 15 3:10-4:10p.m. / May 16 4:30-5:15p.m. / May 23 4:30p.m.)
  6. Guard / dance audition (Week of May 21)
  7. A letter of recommendation from an adult. Due to the band office by May 18 at 3:30 p.m..

Listed below are the required audition parts for each job.

Drum Major (parts 1-2-3-4-5-7)
Music Leaders (parts 1-2-3-4-7)
Guard Leader (parts 1-2-3-4-6-7)
All Committee Chairs (parts 1-2-3-7)

Other Factors:

  • Concert Band and Chair Placement
  • Attendence (at school and band events)
  • Attendence sheet of summer & fall events 2012 - 2013 (will be provided to you at your interview and due back to band office by May 18 at 3:30 p.m.
