Education School,
and proud of it! At Ankeney, we will
work together to make character education a matter of good habit, integrating
it in all we do. Ankeney strives to become a community of virtue in which caring, justice and fairness,
respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, and service learning are regularly
expected, modeled, taught and celebrated.
What
is Character Education? Six core ethical values form the
foundation of the Character Counts program.
They are: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring,
and citizenship. These six pillars will
be taught and discussed during advisory and throughout the content areas.
