  • Four $5142 Thornton Memorial Scholarships Awarded for 2015-2016
    The Thornton Memorial Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that one 2nd-year renewal scholarship and three 1st-year scholarships have been awarded for 2015-2016 including a couple in the HS music department. Congratulations Jacob, Daniel, Alexander and Alexander!
  • Final exams for band are posted in SmartMusic. All freshmen, sophomores and juniors must submit a final. Exams must be submitted by Friday, May 29th at the start of the band period. If the following two conditions are met, then the student does not need to report to their assigned band exam period:
    • 1) SmartMusic exam must be submitted prior to class on Friday, May 29th
    • 2) Point sheet must be turned in
  • RETURN SENIOR YARD SIGNS
    It's hard to believe another class of marching band seniors are graduating! That means that it is almost time to return your senior sign so that they can be repainted for the next group of seniors. Signs can be returned to the band room during the first two weeks of summer band rehearsals in July. If this is not convenient, you can contact Becky Kuech by phone at 937-879-0313 or by email to tkuech@att.net to make arrangements to return your sign. Please try to return your sign by the end of July, as work on the 2015-2016 signs will begin by the first of August.
