Menu Nutrition Information
Good nutrition is the cornerstone of good health, and Beavercreek Schools' Student Nutrition Department strives each and every day to offer a variety of healthy and appealing meal options to students at a reasonable price.
All meals are designed to meet standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the National School Lunch Program, and contain age-appropriate serving sizes of lean meats, fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and lowfat milk. These meals are nutrient-dense and meet USDA guidelines for calories, fats, sodium, lean proteins, whole grains, and a variety of fruits and vegetables.
The cycle menu follows guidelines of the Whole Grains Council, the Fruits & Veggies/More Matters organization, the American Dairy Association, and the USDA's MyPlate.gov program.
A la Carte Options
A la carte foods and beverages follow the guidelines of the USDA Smart Snack regulation.
