The opportunity to lead our high school is an honor because of its reputation for student success and community service. I truly believe this district is a “destination district,” and it shows by how many professionals gladly spend their careers serving it and truly enjoy helping students reach their fullest potential.
My postsecondary career began at Otterbein College where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching. The Ohio State University was my next stop where I continued my professional growth and earned a CBI/OWE Endorsement. I also completed my Administrator’s Licensure and Superintendent’s Licensure Coursework at Ashland University.
I had the pleasure of working with students in the science classroom for nearly 15 years before becoming an associate principal at Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio. Most recently I served as principal at Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio.
An atmosphere of trust and cooperation between parents and teachers creates an ideal situation for students which is something I have learned through my years of experience. At BHS, students are in the best possible place to succeed and under our team’s leadership, with your help, we will give them every possible opportunity to do so.
I look forward to meeting everyone and “weaving myself into the fabric” of the Beavercreek community, working collaboratively with everyone to continue to honor the traditions and enrich the experiences for everyone here at Beavercreek High School.
