For those of you who do not know me, my name is Dan Schwieterman and I have been a part of the Beavercreek School District for the past fourteen years. I earned my Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton, as well as a Master of Science in Middle Childhood Education with Reading, Math, and Science Specializations from Wright State University. My undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education, is also from Wright State. This is now my fifth year at Valley and 15th year in the Beavercreek City Schools. My teaching experience consists of two years of 8th grade science at Ferguson Middle School, and eight years teaching math, science, and reading in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at Ankeney Middle School. I have been involved in supporting many extracurricular activities, including coaching track, assisting the marching band, and planning middle school science fairs.
I have had the time of my life the last four years getting to know and working with so many wonderful families. I want you to know that as always, you are cordially welcomed to our school. The word our truly means our children, our parents, our teachers, and our entire staff. Together we enable our school to climb to its greatest heights. Please become as involved as possible in your child(ren)’s education. We need you and your valuable input. So many exciting programs have come directly from you, our parents. I encourage you to use the Student Handbook as it contains important information about our school.
