🫀 Students in Mrs. Bisignani’s Medical Detectives class recently took their learning to the next level!

First, they studied the flow of blood through the heart on paper. Then, they got hands-on experience with a pig heart dissection, identifying structures such as the atria and ventricles. Using pipe cleaners, they even traced the blood’s path inside and out!

Future medical professionals in the making 🧡🖤 It’s exciting to see them gaining real hands-on learning so early!

🎉🏃 What an amazing start to the season!

Last weekend, our Middle School Cross Country team kicked off their year at the Bob Schul Invitational, competing against 46 teams.

🥇 The girls’ team dominated with a 1st place finish!
💪 The boys’ team had an outstanding showing, placing 4th!
🌟 A huge congratulations to Ellie Allen, who took 1st place overall in the girls’ race!

We are so proud of our student-athletes and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this season! 🦫🧡🖤

👩‍🔬🔬 Students in Mrs. Bisignani’s Medical Detectives class put their lab safety skills to the test this past week!

From acting out the wrong way to follow lab rules (with plenty of giggles along the way) to demonstrating the right way to stay safe, these future scientists made learning both fun and memorable.

Everyone walked away with great reminders on how to keep our lab a safe place to explore science! 🌟🧪
