🌟 Celebrating Student Success at the Educators Rising State Conference! 🌟 For the first time ever, students from the Career Technical Education Creek Teacher Academy Pathway at BHS competed at the Educators Rising State Conference at Capital University—and they made an incredible impression! 👏✨ Among the 900 attendees, Beavercreek had 34 outstanding students representing BHS, including 13 competitors who showcased their passion and skills in education. We are thrilled to announce that 6 of our students have qualified for Nationals and are invited to compete in Florida this June! 🌴🎉 5th place, Lesson Planning, Arts-Mary Franz Senior 4th place, Inside Our Schools (featuring BHS Creek Industries)-Ellie Lindsey, Maddie Retter, Kayla Tritschler, Seniors 3rd place, Children’s Literature K-3 Kayleigh Marcotte, Avery Baldosser, Juniors Silver Medal, Interactive Bulletin Board Megan Corbell, Emma Porter, Juniors and National qualifiers. 🎭🔬 Students in Mrs. Hess' Honors Biology class at BHS recently took their learning to the next level by performing an impromptu play titled "Ditto!" 🔬🎭 In this hands-on lesson, students transformed into DNA and enzymes to demonstrate the process of DNA Replication. To make the play come to life, students had to deeply understand the functions of the enzymes they portrayed. 🥫🏈 NHS "Soup-er Bowl" Food Drive a Success! 🏈🥫 During Super Bowl weekend, BHS National Honor Society held its annual "Soup-er Bowl" Food Drive, collecting over 200 bags and several boxes of nonperishable goods for Feed the Creek! All 130 NHS members worked hard distributing flyers, collecting donations, and bringing food to BHS. Some even stayed after school to help load and unload supplies for the pantry, ensuring local families receive the support they need.
