Ruby is a certified therapy dog who brings comfort and joy to our school community. She especially loves listening to our students read, making their learning experience even more special. 📚❤️

A big shout out to Mr. Jason Enneking for inspiring Mrs. Jennifer Schmidt, our Creek Teacher Academy instructor, to challenge students to identify teachers who have impacted their lives. These students are all in the second course of our Education in Training Pathway.
On staff opening day, Mr. Enneking was announced as the 2024 Outstanding Educator of the Year. In his speech, he shared how teachers at BCS impacted his educational journey. Mr. Enneking is a proud BHS graduate.

What was the highlight of your summer vacation? For Cadet Caleb Kjar and Cadet Wesley Stephen, it was successfully soloing an airplane! ✈️
Both cadets earned the prestigious Daedalians Flight 9 Flight Scholarship, each valued at $5,000. These scholarships covered ground school and flight hours up to their solo flights.

This year, our students have new Career Technical Education (CTE) options—Information Technology and Cyber Security!
Learning in these cutting-edge pathways will take place in rooms specially designed for these programs, thanks to renovations and equipment funded by the Ohio CTE Equipment Grant awarded to our district last year.
