This award is presented for excellence in financial reporting related to Comprehensive Annual Financial Reporting and compliance with applicable laws for the fiscal year ending in 2022.
By keeping accurate financial records, governing bodies demonstrate their commitment to efficient, effective, and transparent service," Auditor Keith Faber said. "This award honors public entities that have worked hard to keep their finances in order." According to Joe Braden, less than 5% of the public entities in Ohio earn this award.
