Beavercreek City Schools has developed a future-focused Master Facilities Plan. The plan will include a comprehensive assessment of all school facilities and plans for maintenance, replacement cycles, renovations, and next-generation schools.

Our current situation is not without its challenges. For instance, three of our six elementary schools have cafeterias that also serve as gymnasiums. This dual-purpose arrangement often leads to scheduling conflicts and limits the opportunities available to our students. Also, elementary enrollment continues to exceed capacity levels, resulting in the installation of three modular units (trailers) across the district.

Under the Master Facilities Plan, our students will have an opportunity to unite as a graduating class during their sixth-grade year, a significant shift from the current practice of uniting in the 9th grade. This change is designed to enhance their educational journey and foster a stronger sense of community.

Finally, the BCS Master Facilities Plan will reduce the number of building transitions for students from four to three. These are just a few of the critical features of this plan. Read below for more information and details.
