๐ฆ๐ Thanksgiving Fun with Student Council! ๐๐ฆ
Every year, BHS Student Council hosts a Thanksgiving party filled with food, games, and plenty of fun! This year, the festivities included:
๐ญ A spirit day competition with themes like Charlie Brown, Minions, Pink-out, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. Congratulations to the Christmas Committee (Maggie, Anna, Ireland, Kinzie, Jax, and Rebecca Carlson) for winning with their festive flair! ๐๐ฌ
๐ฆ A hidden turkey game โ 36 paper turkeys were hidden around the room, and the best turkey hunter walked away with a candy bar!
โ Thanksgiving trivia โ the winner earned first dibs on the amazing food spread, which included ham, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, pies, and more!
Thank you to all the members and advisors who contributed to the food and fun. What a great way to celebrate the season together! ๐งก๐ค

๐ฆ๐ Thanksgiving Fun at Fairbrook! ๐๐ฆ
Our Fairbrook students have been busy preparing for Thanksgiving in some creative and educational ways!
๐ Fourth graders in Ms. Bruhn's class did some Thanksgiving dinner shopping by exploring Kroger ads, practicing addition, subtraction, rounding, and ordering decimals!
๐ฝ๏ธ Kindergarteners celebrated their annual Thanksgiving Feast by creating tablecloths and sharing a meal together with their classmates.
๐ฆ Both kindergarten and fourth grade students got into the holiday spirit by helping turkeys survive Thanksgiving! Kindergarteners made turkey disguises, while fourth graders applied their knowledge of animal adaptations to create camouflage for their turkeys.
What a fun week of learning and celebration! ๐งก๐ค
